Can you cope with the pressure that is placed upon your shoulders?
Your days are so regimented, akin to those of a soldier.
The freedom you long for, has not materialised,
Even your faithful friends perpetually chastise.

How vital it is that your sanity you preserve,
To retain your faculties, you deserve,
Nothing more, nothing less.

Can’t you see the loneliness you are bringing to others?
Your vicissitudes of fortune should not be passed to another.
When all around are succeeding, you are struggling to fail,
Where many see glamour and excitement, you see the sterile and stale.

How vital it is that your sanity you preserve,
To retain your faculties, you deserve,
Nothing more, nothing less.

You’ll never see, no, you’ll never see, what you’ve done,
The mess that you’ve caused, the damage, the loss, you just run.

At what point will you finally say enough is enough?
How much torment can you endure, when support you are bereft of?
Is there a limit to how many people your message can reach?
Could the tolerance of those on who you depend become breached?

How vital it is that your sanity you preserve,
To retain your faculties, you deserve,
Nothing more, nothing less.

You’ll never see, no, you’ll never see, what you’ve done,
The mess that you’ve caused, the damage, the loss, you just run.
