  1. In The Lord I Trust -:-- / 3:45

Nobody cries for him, just me and me alone,
Though the wounds of the past heal quicker now he’s gone.
I fight for my cause, and I hope justice will be dealt,
In darkness I see the boy I loved and held.

Hands clasped in prayer, in the lord I trust, I can’t forget this son of mine.
Tear in my eye, glass in my hand, I can’t forget this son of mine.

No remorse ever offered, no man held to account,
And though the grief may ease, my search for revenge won’t.
I’ve no anger left to spare, and the bitterness is yet to leave.
I’ve no pity for them and they have none for me.

Hands clasped in prayer, in the lord I trust, I can’t forget this son of mine.
Tear in my eye, glass in my hand, I can’t forget this son of mine.

I know not what the future holds, save for unhappiness,
Though God offers me hope I still feel restless.
I know my son is up in heaven, though others swear he rots in hell,
And when the truth emerges they will suffer as I have suffered well.
Hands clasped in prayer, in the lord I trust, I can’t forget this son of mine.
Tear in my eye, glass in my hand, I can’t forget this son of mine.
Hands clasped in prayer, in the lord I trust, I can’t forget this son of mine.
Tear in my eye, glass in my hand, I can’t forget this son of mine.
